Reflections: I, II

Due to the very difficult present situation in music-business, one is forced to the conclusion that it’s time to start a new label, aimed to support artists like ‚massivan’.

With ‚daylife’ by ‚massivan’ himself, we are proud to present our first release on ‚pmusica’.

As the sound of this cd is very particular and own - a mixture between acoustic-jazzy-pop, chill-house and latin-beats with vocals - it is not so easy to catalogue. That is also a reason why you got the opportunity to hear (if you like) some samples of each track of the album.
Make your own opinion.

We can say that one can hear the musical education massivan enjoyed during his whole life:

starting playing violin at the age of six, going over to playing drums and ending by being a audio-engineer.

Contrary to ‚massivan’s look, on ‚daylife’ you will be able to hear the island-groove ‚massivan’ is living on formentera, spain. A tiny little island, just beside ibiza, where ‚massivan’ is living since spring 2003.

Besides a song with singer ‚olson’, with whom ‚massivan’ already worked on the album ‚third wave’ by ‚calmstreet’, released on ‚mole listening pearls’, you can find six tracks featuring ‚bea luna’s vocals, former singer contracted by ‚bmg-ariola’. Two charming voices, very characteristic for the sound of ‚daylife’.

Finally, with ‚pär gandalfsson’ on the piano and ‚mirko pezzini’ - who turns out to be his father! - on the violin, this album turns out to be a great musical experience you can’t (and won’t) miss.

The perfect musical accompaniment for the summer season of 2005.
